Phoenix Games created last year by Flaregames founder Klaas Kersting, acquires the development group Promotion Software, the studio’s gaming division based in Germany, and its gaming label, Sixteen Tons Entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Promotion Software started in 1993 in Berlin and T\u00fcbingen developing games for PC, console, and mobile. Its best-known title Emergency has ten standalone entries, including recent free-to-play mobile title Emergency HQ and the PC Complete Emergency collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ralph Stock, CEO of Promotion and Sixteen Tons says in a statement the decision to join up with Phoenix was \u201cnot a question of money\u201d and instead \u201ca question of trust.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
