Double Loop Games has raised $2.5 million in seed funding to make mobile games for everyone. The company\u2019s founders are game veterans Emily Greer and Shelby Moledina, who have together worked on many titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That funding was supported by 1Up Ventures and led by London Venture Partners (LVP), the latter of which has been involved in numerous games investments in recent years. Additionally, LVP partner David Gardner has joined the Double Loop board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mobile game market continues to expand, with 2.5 billion people downloading and playing games worldwide, yet an estimated 70% do not identify as gamers despite playing daily. Double Loop will design games to tap the mass market of smartphone owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
