The company has been founded in 2001 and has grown into one of the largest and longest-standing developers of interactive games in Russia and Eastern Europe. One of the recently successful Saber&#8217;s projects is zombie-apocalypse shooter <em>World War Z<\/em>, released in April 2019. Also, id Software producer and game director <em>Tim Willits<\/em> joined the company this year in August.<br><br>Keep broadening itself, <em>Saber Interactive<\/em> announced yesterday it&#8217;s acquiring <em><strong>Bigmoon Entertainment<\/strong><\/em>, Portugual-based games developer known for such titles as <em>Syndrome, Demons Age<\/em> and a number of racing games. Saber has not divulged information about the cost of acquisition, but has stated that company &#8221; would have sought to acquire the studio even if World War Z had been a more modest success&#8221;.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote style=\"text-align:right\" class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> <em>&#8220;Saber is always on the lookout for teams with creativity, passion and  expertise, and the crew at Bigmoon is a perfect fit for our culture and  ambitions<\/em>.&#8221;  <\/p><cite>  Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now the <em>Bigmoon<\/em> team will be renamed into <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em><strong>Saber Porto<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; and it will work on two unannounced projects with no release dates yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saber Interactive is an American-based video game developer.
