Koch Media GmbH \u2013 a wholly-owned subsidiary of Embracer Group AB, has announced it fully acquiring Vertigo Games for \u20ac50m in cash and stock. This deal comes after this year’s acquisition of Voxler and last year’s acquisition of Milestone S.r.L by Koch Media, as well as February’s acquisition of Saber Interactive by the Embracer Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vertigo Games is a multi-platform VR entertainment company with offices in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2008, the company focuses on development and publishing, both for home entertainment as well as location-based-entertainment. Vertigo Games is officially partnered with all major VR platform providers and acts as a cross-platform publisher and developer in the VR market. It is best known as the developer of the early VR hit Arizona Sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal also includes targets around earnings and product releases over the next ten years. If fulfilled, the total value of the deal could rise by a further \u20ac65 million — \u20ac25 million in cash, and \u20ac40 million in B shares.
