Firstly, the studio had a name Royal Circus Games, but Rockstar threatened legal action in 2019 over the studio&#8217;s name, claiming that Royal Circus Games&#8217; acronym (RCG) was too close to Rockstar Games (RSG), so the name change was announced in October 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p> Players are getting smarter and require more from their games, and we  want players to have the real freedom to live in our worlds in the ways  they want to. We\u2019re aiming to offer a huge variety of game modes and  styles that not only tell our stories but also enable players to live in  the identities and adventures they most want to explore. <\/p><cite> Leslie Benzies,  Build a Rocket Boy&#8217;s founder<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Now Leslie announces he has raised \u00a332 million ($40.8 million) from  Cayman fund Makers, New York cryptocurrency investor Galaxy Interactive and Chinese gaming giant Netease. Funding will be used for the development of studio&#8217;s first game &#8211; an open-world sci-fi title Everywhere.
