France president Emmanuel Macron extended his gratitude via Twitter for such an amazing success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, French streaming marathon Z Event managed to accumulate a record amount of donations \u2013 during a 3-day event streamers from France collected over 5,7 million euros for Amnesty International. The previous record was actually held by the 2019 edition of Z Event, which raised \u20ac3.5 million for the Pasteur Institute. Back then, it broke a record established by Bungie with its GuardianCon, which raised $3.7 million (\u20ac3.1m) in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the viewers were able to donate money or buy special event T-shirts to add to the cause. The final amount collected is 5,7 million euros which will be transferred to Amnesty International \u2013 a non-governmental organization focused on human rights. Of course, such a success was noticed by non-gamers. Even France president Emmanuel Macron extended his gratitude via Twitter for such an amazing success:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
