Focus Home Interactive<\/a> today announced that they had taken a step in their journey to success by raising \u20ac70.3 million ($85.7 million) through a share offering\u2014which represents more than 19% of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus Home Interactive said the investment will be directed for the company\u2019s medium and long-term external growth goals. It means the French publisher will use the money for buying new studios and expediting its development spending by creating games across various genres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to expanding their business, Focus Home Interactive has been the definition of aggressive\u2014growing its business over the last year. In 2020, it bought Deck13 Interactive<\/a>, the developer behind the game, The Surge. Following that, it founded a new Deck13 subsidiary studio in Montreal at the beginning of this year. Focus Home has also acquired Streum On Studio last month, the developer of Space Hulk: Deathwing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After acquiring Streum On Studio, Focus Home Interactive said it formed an acquisitions team that is actively discussing with several studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus Home Interactive is based in Paris, France. The publisher has several diverse, quality, and original titles on its portfolio. Focus Home is behind the publishing and distributing of well-known original titles such as A Plague Tale: Innocence, Farming Simulator, Insurgency: Sandstorm, MudRunner, Call of Cthulhu, The Surge 2, and SnowRunner, among others. The company releases games for PC, consoles, and all major platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The publisher’s portfolio will get even more interesting in the coming months as it expects to release new updates of Curse of the Dead Gods and Hardspace: Shipbreaker and releasing the much-awaited new title Hood: Outlaws & Legends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
