Launched in March 2020, Piepacker is a social gaming platform where users can enjoy playing modern and retro games on their web browsers. Its free catalog has more than 80 games and has around half a million users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Piepacker has partnered with major gaming companies like Codemasters, Team17, and Interplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company said it will use the money to develop its platform further and expand into new regions and platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rob Lowe, Lego Ventures managing director of digital play, also commented about the fundraising round. “At Lego Ventures we invest in the future of education and digital play, exploring the Lego idea of learning through play. This is very much in tune with the vision of Piepacker and its future ambitions,” he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Piepacker also intends to develop more exclusive games for its platform. Its debut title, Ars\u00e9ne Lupin: Gentleman Bomber, debuted in May this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
