Leading French developer and publisher Focus Home Interactive<\/a>, now Focus Entertainment announced it acquired its partner studio Douze Dixi\u00e8mes for an unknown amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in France, Douze Dixi\u00e8mes has been working with Focus Entertainment since last year for the release of its<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is a real pleasure to welcome Douze Dixi\u00e8mes to the Focus family,” said Christophe Nobileau, President of Focus Entertainment. “The studio has already demonstrated its creative ability with Shady Part of Me, and we are delighted that the Douze Dixi\u00e8mes team is joining our federation of talents. This acquisition once again demonstrates our ambition to create a strong Group, but also illustrates Focus’s desire to support the French video game scene, a major focus of our editorial strategy.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This year has been eventful for Focus, as the company made several significant acquisitions such as Streets of Rage 4 publisher Dotemu<\/a> for $45.5 million in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April this year, Focus purchased Streum On Studio<\/a>, the developer of Necromunda Warhammer shooter games. Focus also opened a new game development studio, Deck13 Interactive<\/a>, in Montreal, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
