The company is developing mobile games from creating to publishing and distribution. <em>MadBox<\/em> has been founded in July 2018 as a startup of two Paris-based game studios. It currently counts around 35 employees and several games, including <em>Dash Valley, Zoo Tycoon, Stickman Hook, Sausage Flip<\/em>, and others, with a total number of 100 million downloads.<br><br>The funding was led by <strong><em>Alven<\/em><\/strong> &#8211;  a European independent venture investment firm with a successful track record of backing more than 100 startups over 20 years (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crunchbase.com\/organization\/alven-capital\">Crunchbase<\/a>).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote style=\"text-align:right\" class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p> \u201c<em>We are a generation of friends who have worked for well-known casual  game studios. And we all think that big game productions will have to  become simpler so that people can play them like casual games \u2014 and vice  versa<\/em>.\u201d <\/p><cite> MadBox co-founder and CEO Jean-Nicolas Vernin <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The company is very meticulous in terms of hiring and production, but with new financial help, <em>MadBox<\/em> plans to open a second office in Barcelona.
