Burlingame Studios will also join the game publisher&#8217;s developer ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scopely says, &#8220;aims to build game teams with incredible talent density where the traditional boundaries between developer and publisher are eliminated.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burlingame Studios was co-founded by CEO Chris McGill. McGill is also the former senior VP at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesround.com\/blog\/electronic-arts-to-acquire-glu-mobile-for-2-4-billion\" title=\"Electronic Arts To Acquire Glu Mobile For $2.4 Billion\">Glu Mobile<\/a>. Burlingame Studio&#8217;s team includes Jose Avila, Barlow Gilmore, Scott Cuthbertson, and Brandon Jones, all of whom are veteran game developers from firms such as Glu Mobile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesround.com\/blog\/playdemic-acquired-by-electronic-arts-for-1-4b\" title=\"Playdemic Acquired By Electronic Arts For $1.4B\">Electronic Arts<\/a>, and CrowdStar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>&#8220;Our team is excited to start a new adventure together as Burlingame Studios, and with Scopely, build on our collective track record of big wins,&#8221; said Burlingame Studios CEO Chris McGill. &#8220;With many years of experience creating games, we knew exactly what we wanted and needed in a partner \u2014 an extremely dynamic and intuitive technology platform, strong infrastructure and publishing expertise, deep investment and commitment in our team, and a culture that empowers creativity and innovation.
