Mobile game developer Candivore announced that it recently closed a $10 million funding round to accelerate the development of mobile casual multiplayer games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VC firm VGames <\/a>led this latest round which saw participation from Tiger Global Management. As of now, the Tel Aviv-based studio has secured a total of $22 million in funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The mobile gaming space has been booming for years, and our journey has been wilder than anything we could have imagined,” said Candivore CEO Gal Goldstein. “As we continue to work passionately to add more features for our players, our continued partnership with Vgames will help our efforts to make Match Masters even more rewarding for our global community of users.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

VGames also led the previous funding by Candivore in February 2021, where the developer raised a cool $12 million. At the time, Candivore said it would use the money to expand the studio’s portfolio and user acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eitan Reisel, the VGames founder, commented: “We are very excited about Candivore’s prospects. The mobile gaming market is witnessing tantalizing growth, and Candivore’s Match Masters has already positioned itself as one of the leading mobile games. With the long-standing support of Vgames, I am confident that this mobile gaming experience will gain more momentum, creating ample opportunities for stakeholders and gamers alike.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Match Masters is the biggest release by Candivore to date. Match Masters is a PVP match-three game with over 5 million monthly users and more than 30 million lifetime installs on Google Play and the Apple App Store. In addition, the game’s 5 million MAUs play more than 10 million matches daily on Match Masters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest investment comes on the heels of Candivore’s planned United Kingdom advertising campaign. The campaign, which includes both TV ads and online activities, will premiere on May 27, with singer Robbie Williams and football star and actor Vinnie Jones attending the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other news, Malm\u00f6-based tech startup Coherence<\/a> has raised $8 million in a funding round led by Griffin Gaming Partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
