$2.5 million for esports platforms development

The theme of esports and pro-gaming scene is actual like never before. A lot of big tournaments have been held, even more matches are planned for the future. However, “numerous brands have indicated a great disparity between what current tournament platforms offer and what brands expect” – says XY Gaming CEO, Aaron Fletcher. 

“Through our simple, free, and one-click to enter and play platform, we enable gamers of all skill levels to take their gaming to the next level in a fair and secure environment.”

Therefore, the company announced a $2.5 million seed funding round for expanding its platform and to make esports more affordable for everyone. The main investors are KB Partners and Varga Capital. 

XY Gaming is an online global esports platform that has already hosted over 16 000 tournaments and 12,5 million games with more than 1 million people had involved. Right now it supports competitions in League of Legends, Smite, Dota 2, StarCraft. And with financial help, platform is going to add more games: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , Rocket League, World of Tanks, Overwatch in the near future.
