G-Loot raises $56m in funding round

With this investment, G-Loot is closer to its mission of bringing esports to everyone.

G-Loot was founded in 2015 in Stockholm, Sweden, as the parent company of online tournament platform Global Loot League, which hosts a range of online and offline tournaments. Since then, the company has grown rapidly and now employs over 110 team members from around the world and has an experience of partnership with the likes of PUBG Corporation, Tencent, and Electronic Arts.

We’re very excited to be taking this next step. In the coming months we’ll be focussing on growing our player base, optimizing our service, and securing G-Loot as a strong and reliable brand in North America and worldwide. Work has already begun on expanding to new platforms which brings us closer to our mission of bringing an extra layer of excitement to every gaming experience.

Now G-Loot announces it has secured $56 million in new investment supported by all of its major shareholders, including Swedbank Robur, Norron, CNI, Inbox Capital and Celox. The main advantage of the G-Loot platform is its technology that works with games without the need for direct integration or official APIs. The company states that with G-Loot’s products, anyone, from professionals to casual players, can earn money from the games they already play & love.
