RektGlobal raises $35m in funding


The investment will be used to accelerate the company’s international growth with key hires, expanding the sales team and expand its portfolio of events and services.

Esports-focused company RektGlobal, the parent company of esports teams Rogue and the London Royal Ravens announced it has raised a $35M USD financing round from investment firm Summit Partners. Last year, RektGlobal raised $10.8 million in Series A funding with investment from famous American musicians as Steve Aoki, Imagine Dragons, producer and DJ Nicky Romero and other.

ReKTGlobal was founded in 2017 by Amish Shah and Dave Bialek, and now owns several esports assets such as the LEC franchise Rogue, Call of Duty League team London Royal Ravens, content creation agency Greenlit, and more. Rogue, the League of Legends team owned by ReKTGlobal, is currently competing in the League of Legends World Championship in Shanghai, China. The team currently sits in third place in Group B, with a 1-2 record to start the tournament.

The company has acquired a handful of other businesses to expand its capabilities, like digital advertising agency Fearless Media, and it is always ready to make additional acquisitions within the esports, gaming, and entertainment space.
