Esports Platform Edge Gaming Nets $2M In A Funding Round

Edge Gaming, an esports company based in Tel-Aviv, Israel, announced that they had raised $2 million in pre-seed funding round.

The funding round was led by renowned investors Stardom Ventures and AnD Ventures. Edge Gaming said it would use the investment to establish the training academy to provide an end-to-end solution for pro players.

“In our military service, we prepared soldiers for some of the most complicated situations a person can endure. We found that despite the obvious differences, training scenarios for soldiers and for professional esports players are actually quite comparable,” said Asaf.

Edge Gaming was founded by brothers Asaf Gazit and Omri Gazit earlier this year after leaving their positions in the Israeli Special Forces. Asaf is the CEO Asaf while Omri serves as the COO of the company. The duo said they are very excited to use what they learned from those experiences while running Edge Gaming.

The platform aims to foster a collaborative environment for elite gamers. The company’s goal is “to provide an end-to-end solution to elite esports players, clubs, and aspiring professionals.”
