Madfinger Games Gets €5 Million Funding From Nuverse

Mobile game developer Madfinger games announced today that it received a €5 million investment from Nuverse, a Hong Kong-based game developer and publisher.

Madfinger Games said it would use the money towards scaling up its workforce by hiring new talent, expand its existing portfolio of games, and expedite its development of new next-generation titles.

Founded in 2010 by a former 2K veteran, the Czech developer is the developer behind the highly-acclaimed Shadowgun and Dead Trigger series. The games are available for iOS and Android.

“We are thrilled to have Nuverse on board. They provide us not only capital but also a solid experience in the gaming market,” Marek Rabas, CEO and founder of Madfinger Games, commented. “The funding allows us to hire new talents from all over the world to accelerate the release of our games.”

ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has been on a roll in recent years. The company is diversifying its business ventures to include publishing services and games. It is not only responsible for one of the most popular video apps around but also launched Pixmain last November and Danjuan Games this year.

Pixmain, will publish original content on TikTok’s social network, while Danjuan Games aims to take a share of the casual gaming market.
