Israel-based app monetization platform IronSource announced an agreement to acquire mobile marketing company Bidalgo for an undisclosed sum.

“IronSource and Bidalgo already work with many of the same customers, who use multiple products on the ironSource platform along with Bidalgo’s marketing technology,” said IronSource CEO and co-founder Tomer Bar Zeev. “This not only highlights the value of the combined offering and our stickiness with customers, it’s also a testament to the strength of our platform-based approach to the App Economy, and our customer-centric approach to M&A.”

Bidalgo is a marketplace for app marketers that allows them to maximize the potential of their marketing campaigns by giving them control over their spending. Bidalgo is also based in Israel.

Bidalgo co-founder and CEO Peli Beeri commented: “When we founded Bidalgo more than ten years ago, we had a simple goal in mind: we wanted to build the best platform for marketers to optimize their investment towards exceptional business results. By combining Bidalgo’s technology with the ironSource platform, we’ll be able to create a unique offering for mobile marketers, with one place to create, analyze and manage every aspect of their paid marketing.”

IronSource said this acquisition will “deepen” the firm’s market presence in newer areas such as social, dating, and e-commerce apps, in addition to mobile games. Furthermore, IronSource will integrate various marketing-related solutions to increase the platform’s value for app marketers.

This is the second major acquisition from IronSource this month. Earlier this month, IronSource snapped mobile advertising and app monetization company Tapjoy for $400 million. Additionally, the firm acquired several other companies this year, including Luna Labs and adverts platform Soomla.
